ENOUGH

What if,
Just how it is now,
As you are now,
With all the horrible messy flaws of you,
All the mistakes, misfires and missiles,
The things left undone because,
[make room for whatever your brain serves up],
Is enough?
Like, if there weren’t all the things,
To compare it to,
Maybe it WOULD be enough.
Just you and your practice and ways,
The notes and clues you leave for yourself,
The things you like to be and do,
Your means for finding the truth,
Beneath all those layers,
Like covers, you pull over yourself,
In the morning.
What if this one life,
This one chance,
Is just going to be the way it is.
Not like any other.
Maybe this is going to just be,
Or is,
The way things are.
And you can just enjoy it,
As it is,
Because it is,
Enough.
