REVOLUTION

We have had too much for too long now,
To even know what’s happened to us,
The destruction of our culture,
By forces unseen, omnipresent and insatiable.
We have no choice BUT to move forward,
And remind ourselves of what we can do,
When we confront difficulty together.
When we turn everything else off,
And gather in small groups,
To make music,
Or move,
Or make things,
Or talk quietly about what is important,
It transforms us and who we are,
And is now an act of revolution.
