BEING GOOD IS NOT TRICKY

Not lying.
It sounds simple because it is.
Being good is not tricky.
We know what to do,
But it is not always easy,
Particularly when you’re the president,
Because there is plenty to lie about,
And plenty of smart people,
That will explain to you why lying,
Is part of the job.
But then you have to decide,
There are more important things
Then doing the job.
Like finding the peace in you,
So you can help others find the peace in them,
Like providing shelter and food,
For those that don’t have it,
Like helping prevent disease,
In those that are sick.
Being good is important.
Let’s do it.
