YOU KNOW SOMETHING

Poem,

two people riding on horses in the distance

There’s a lot of information out there,
More and more every day,
But very little truth,
Truth has a cost.
Your time and attention.
It takes time to get to the bottom of things,
And know something for sure.
If you’ve ever stood among trees in a forest for a few minutes,
You know something.
If you’ve ever stopped talking and looked into the eyes of someone you know for even a few seconds,
You know something.
If you’ve ever just stopped to hear the quiet in your heart,
You know something.
These things are for sure.
If you want to start over or just wake up,
You can always start right there.
