PHILOSOPHY ATTRACTS INTROVERTS

“Philosophy attracts introverts.”
If you spend time thinking about us,
How we should be,
What we should do,
And wondering what will happen,
The more likely it is,
You will become aware of our faults,
And be tempted toward contempt.
But then,
There we all are,
Sitting around a table,
Or a campfire,
Temporarily sated,
Perhaps some wine,
And a gentle glow forming around us,
Not tangible,
Yet, real as anything
You will ever know.
Connection,
Is not something we have,
It is something we do.
